We are excited to report that we have two contracts on our subdivision, located in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Together with our new house plan and rendering, we also aggressively priced the homes to sell. Interested buyers responded well to our market shift within this three lot subdivision, and we have much activity to show for, as well as contracts of sale.
Mike, the team's project manager, and I got tickets to go to Yankee game last month, through one of our vendors (they have season tickets, nice right). Great chance for us to get away from the stresses at work, and go and just hang out. The seats were great, we ended up in the Delta 360 section, behind home plate.
The game was exciting, it came down to last inning (walk off home run) score by the bombers, you'll see my picture of the guy with a cream pie in his face, courtesy of a teammate.
The stadium was spectacular. If you didn't have a chance to go there this year, make plans to see them next year, great experience. We plan on being back there for more Yankee baseball.
We relocated our office from Pleasantville to Chappaqua, to be closer to our subdivision project here on King Street. In fact, we decided to set up our office in the existing mansion on the property, previously unoccupied for over 10 years.
The majority of the first floor, including the dining room, living room and front foyer, are utilized in a combination of sales office, for the five homes of the subdivision, and also for our own office (Hilmar Development Group).
In a couple of weeks, we will have the showroom (filled with samples of the trim work, door and window samples, siding and roofing samples, and much more) on display, for customers to be able to better visualize the products that go into these homes.
We are proud to present the first LEED for Homes here in Westchester County, NY. This home is located on Prospect Place in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. We are near completion of this home. This is an exciting process, many new construction elements have been applied to this home, starting with the soy based spray insulation (as you see pictures of), and high efficient HVAC system. The LEED for Homes process implements many points, energy efficiency (save up to 30-40% on your energy bills/usage), water conservation, reduced waste, much improved air quality among other things. We feel the product is so enhanced that there is no comparison, and plan on continuing to build and educate consumers of this process.
Hilmar Development Group's new subdivision is located in Chappaqua, NY, 643 King Street. We are introducing five beautiful homes on this 17 acre estate, with an existing mansion that sits on top of the hill. Great view and privacy helps describe this lot, but the others all have their unique character and appeal.
All the homes will be LEED for Homes certified, the first of its king here in Westchester county. The first home is scheduled to break ground in a few weeks.
